5 when we were infants, there were things our parents questioned much less often than today’s parents do (p. 6). For example, how much career will fit into our lives (p. 14). Whether breastfeed- ing or bottle feeding is best (p. 16). Or if things which come in contact with our skin are really safe (p. 39). We know much more today – and have more op- tions. NUK has always tried to support parents in finding their own answers. With products which fit in with their lives (p. 50). We find our ideas where the experts are: In hospitals and from midwives, from designers and chefs and, of course, from families themselves (pp. 13, 24 and 32). We all know that inspiration is every- thing. This has applied in particular for NUK for 60 years now. We therefore think the time has come to give something back. With a magazine in which we can share our knowledge with you. In this magazine, you’ll find interesting stories, practical tips and reports which we hope will give you much enjoyment, and plenty of inspiration.
